Ikea recently posted this clever, tribute to cubism storage solution on their Swedish design blog. Combine several of their PRÄNT boxes, paint the inside of a few with your favorite colors (they used bright pastels) and join them together using easily found black office paper clips.
If you are on an even tighter budget, try this with a bunch of recycled cardboard boxes. This would even work perfectly as a fun Easter display. Begin by using the technique above, then randomly and minimally fill the boxes with a variety of Easter candy and holiday figurines.
