Most of you already know how important and thus trendy the word “green” or “Eco” has now become, specifically for the design and architecture industries. Although I am not a big fan of the “green movement” trend,  this Endless Chair, 2011 by dutch furniture designer Dirk VanDer Kooij is a perfect example of everything that does excite me about the more important “sustainable” integrities I am a much bigger fan of.

a – Its aesthetic is modern and futuristic.
b – The process can easily inspire similar technological ideas.
c – Its material is recycled but is also very beautiful.

A robot extrudes one continuous line out of plastic from recycled refrigerators. I think that the process (look at video above) is as beautiful as the chair itself. To me that is the ultimate inspiration.
